Day 18 - Girls' Night Out

I had such a great time hanging out with Crystal, Crarshi, and Shannon Monday night at Red Robin (oh my goodness ... I had the best burger!!). This is my favorite photo from the evening.

Day 17 - German Hospitatlity

Our sweet friend Judith hosted our community group Sunday night in her super cool apartment. She served us yummy treats. I was proud of myself for being brave and trying new things. I took these with my cell phone (the point of this project is taking at least one photo a day; in case you haven't picked up on this fact, perfection is not the goal).

Day 16 - Alex and Sara's Wedding

Joseph and I (a.k.a JAR Photography) had the honor and privilege of shooting our friend Sara's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding! Here are a couple of pictures I snapped at the reception.

Day 15 - Trip to Big Lots

I was craving a trip to Big Lots (weird? maybe), so my beloved husband said we could go. With love and devotion like that, how could my photo for the day not be a picture of Joseph in Big Lots?

Day 8 - Pink Rain

Joseph and I were driving home this evening, and I noticed several puddles of pink under the trees we were passing. I thought they would make lovely photos, but I knew I would want to get on the ground to take them, and I was wearing a white skirt. Joseph suggested that we go home so I could change and then drive back. That man is a genious. I took a couple of these pictures while I was laying in a puddle in a church parking lot. Joseph very graciously was holding an umbrella over me so the camera wouldn't get wet. I love him.

Day 7 - Bottle Cap

I'm feeling a little under the weather, and I'm in bed. I wanted to take a picture for the day, so I had to use items around me. I like this one of the cap of a bottle of flavored water.

Day 3 - More Fireworks

We went downtown tonight for the fireworks. There were so many people there! It was crazy! We found a decent spot to set up our tripods and shoot toward the bridge, which is what I wanted. My goal was to capture a couple of shots with the Liberty bridge and the fireworks. Here are two I like.

About Me

Follower of Christ. 32. I have the best husband EVER, Joseph. Joseph and I are photographers (jarphotography.com). I love being crafty and serving the women of our church (though those two things don't usually happen at the same time).
